In a healthcare context, the success of fire safety procedure in real-life emergency mainly depends on staff decisions and actions. One factors influencing decision-making is their training. most facilities, educators use slide-based lectures as training tool. Virtual Reality (VR) gaining community attention for being an interesting However, few studies have assessed effectiveness VR-based simulators compared with lecture. The present research proposes novel non-immersive education. This paper describes prototyping steps required to develop VR serious game (SG) train Vincent Van Gogh (VVG) hospital Belgium. finally validates SG comparing its against lecture 78 from VVG Belgium participated this study.
